swiss sheep farm
Hello, and welcome to my second report of things to see and do in and around Cha Am, Hua Hin and Petchaburi.
This week I'm at the picturesque, imaginative and slightly unusual Swiss sheep farm in Cha Am. The tropical climate, and its location only a few kilometres from the sandy beach aren't the usual things that you imagine when you think of a Swiss sheep farm.
The sheep enclosure is great for children, who can get really close to the sheep and buy some food with which to feed them. I must admit the lambs were quite cute. There are also other animals to see roaming in the fields, and acres of space to enjoy a delicious picnic.

Just as unusual as a Swiss sheep farm in Thailand, are the few European classic vehicles on display around the farm, including a Mini and a VW camper. I really didn't expect to see a mini cooper at a Swiss sheep farm in Cha Am, Thailand. It certainly made me smile.
There's a small amusement area at the farm, including funfair shooting games, and a mechanical bull ride, just to add to the uniqueness of the farm. Food and drinks are also available.
As I made my way to the exit, after an interesting and fun morning, I had yet another unexpected surprise for the month of April. All year round, as you exit through the gift shop there is a massive Christmas tree, with a small Santa Claus playing the saxophone.

So if you would like to visit a Swiss sheep farm, and don't fancy going to Switzerland, come to Cha Am, Thailand and you'll have a far more interesting experience.
